Demo version[edit | edit source]

An early demo of Kick Drums & Red Wine was released as a prize during the Fall 2020 ARG. Titled Kick Drums & Red Wine v2, it is rather short and has little in common with the final version of the song. The instrumentation is completely different, having a more progressive house feel akin to WeMoveForward. The only vocals present in the demo are the first verse and chorus, which seem to be unchanged in the final version.

Lyrics[edit | edit source]

Some look to the sky for truth
I look across the room
Katie's dress in full bloom
Yellows and blues

But I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine

Some people find it with devotion
Some with gold and some with bourbon
Some like praying to the blue sky
Some like putting on a disguise

But I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine

I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
I prefer kick drums and red wine
