Because The Night[1] is a song by The Midnight featuring Nikki Flores. It is the sixth and final track from their EP Horror Show. It is a cover of the original 1978 song by Patti Smith Group.
The song was written by Bruce Springsteen and Patti Smith and produced by Tim McEwan. It has a running time of three minutes and 36 seconds and is in the key of D major. The saxophone on Because The Night was performed by Jesse Molloy.
