Since the first vinyl pressing of Endless Summer in 2017, every major release by The Midnight has seen a physical variant made in the form of vinyl record, cassette tape, or compact disc (CD), with many having all three. The following is a complete list of all physical versions of albums and extended plays (EPs) by The Midnight, organized by release title.

Days of Thunder

Endless Summer

First pressing on vinyl. Endless Summer was the first release by The Midnight to get pressed on vinyl and to have a physical release in any format. Announced shortly after the digital release of the album, the project was funded through Qrates and was marketed as Endless Summer (Vocal Edition); none of the instrumental tracks were included in order to fit the record on one vinyl. 619 copies were funded, surpassing the target goal of 500. Records were shipped in May 2017. People who preordered the record received a download code for Bend, a song that was not made available again until the 2021 5 Year Anniversary Edtion reissue. Only The Midnight vinyl release to be pressed in the standard black color.

2018	Cassette	Neon Pink
Second tape variant.
2018	LP	Clear
Second vinyl variant and first variant to include the entire album. The album was remastered for this release. Preorders began in June 2018 and were shipped in September.

Nocturnal

First pressing on vinyl. Preorders began in March 2018 and were shipped the following month. Future pressings of this variant (beginning in 2019) included a remastered version of the album and removed "Constant" from Justin Little's management credit.
2018	LP	Pink
Second vinyl variant - was pressed after the initial run of blue sold out. Future pressings of Nocturnal returned to the original blue color.

Kids

Currently the only color variant of Kids on vinyl. Preorders began prior to album release and started shipping in October. Saturday Mornings (Interlude) is not listed on the tracklist but is still present at the beginning of side B. After the initial run sold out, there was not a repress until late 2022.

Second tape variant. Color also referred to as "seafoam green".

First vinyl variant. First pressing was plagued with issues, with some listeners experiencing warbly playback, skipping, and various other problems, which might have been caused by misaligned holes on the vinyl. Those who ordered the first pressing were sent an email offering a no-cost replacement.

This and the Smoke variant were the first vinyl variants, both available to be preordered on October 16, 2020. Both variants run at 45 RPM, the only The Midnight vinyl releases to do so. Orders began shipping in January 2021. "Kill Your Demons" is etched in the run-out area.

This and the Transparent Orange variant were the first vinyl variants, both available to be preordered on October 16, 2020. Both variants run at 45 RPM, the only The Midnight vinyl releases to do so. Orders began shipping in January 2021. "Kill Your Demons" is etched in the run-out area. Some copies of this variant had a more pronounced darker color closer to black, which is reflected in an updated render.

Third vinyl variant. Unlike the first two, this variant runs at 33 ⅓ RPM.

One of the first vinyl variants, alongside the Marbled Violet Deluxe and Translucent Blue variants. Designated as the "Spotify Fans First Edition". Top listeners of The Midnight on Spotify were emailed a link to buy this variant.

One of the first vinyl variants, alongside the Translucent Blue and Spotify Fans First Clear with Splatter variants. Designated as the "Deluxe Edition". Additional features of this variant include a third record with four bonus tracks, lenticular cover art, a sticker sheet, and a photo booklet. With the exception of Souvenir (Tyler's Version - 2019), the bonus tracks have not been released outside of this variant.

Red, White and Bruised: The Midnight Live

First vinyl variants, initially available to buy only at independent record stores starting April 22 as part of Record Store Day 2023. 1300 copies were pressed for the RSD release, with the color being either red, white, or blue. The color is not known until removing the record from the sleeve. Additional copies were available beginning in September 2023 as part of the wider release of the album.

First cassette variants, which released in September 2023. Like the vinyl version, the tape color is random and will be either red, white, or blue. Contains the expanded edition of the album.

Limited edition pressing of Change Your Heart or Die from The Midnight's then-upcoming album Heroes. Contains the normal version on side A and the instrumental version on side B. Side B also has a hidden snippet of the song Golden Gate that is pressed after some blank space following the Change Your Heart or Die instrumental. "FIRE" is etched in the record run-out area, which proved to be a key clue during the 2022 ARG.
