Jamison Tyler Lyle[1] (born December 1, 1985) is an American musician who is the primary guitarist, vocalist, and lyricist for The Midnight.
Born and raised in rural Georgia, Lyle began his career in music as a young adult and became regionally known after winning a songwriting contest in 2010. This led to the self-release of his debut album, gaining him national exposure, and he also began writing for other artists.
Lyle moved to Los Angeles in 2011, and in 2012 his A&R representative arranged for him to meet Danish producer Tim McEwan for a songwriting session. The two had an instant connection and began making music. Lyle and McEwan became a duo known as The Midnight and self-released their first extended play (EP) in 2014 and have continuously released new music since.
Outside of The Midnight, Lyle continues to release solo work and regularly tours around the United States. In 2016, he began a semi-regular podcast titled From The Secret Lair that includes music and self-commentary. He is married and has one child.
List of The Midnight merchandise
This is a list of merchandise that has been offered by The Midnight, either through their online store or available to purchase at their live shows. The Midnight began a partnership with Wisconsin-based printing shop Ambient Inks in early 2017 to produce band merchandise. Initial offerings were limited to apparel, but over time other items such as accessories, posters, and physical music became available as well.
When The Midnight began touring in Fall 2018, some merchandise began to be offered exclusively at shows. In most cases, leftover stock will be available for purchase on the online store once a tour concludes. Some tours have additionally had exclusive merchandise for those who purchase VIP tickets, and some VIP items will also be available for purchase online after a tour ends.
From 2017 to mid-2021, the online store was located at the domain merch.ambientinks.com/collections/themidnight and served all customers worldwide. Beginning in 2020 and continuing into mid-2021, separate online stores were established for the US (store-us.themidnightofficial.com) and UK (store-uk.themidnightofficial.com) to improve logistics for customers outside of the US. The UK store is operated by Sandbag while the US store continues to be ran by Ambient Inks. Item availability can vary between the two stores, which both ship worldwide. In general, once a item is removed from the website, it will no longer be made again. If an item is still listed but shows as being "out of stock", more of the item is expected to be made.

- Merch - Made in collaboration with We Are Rewind, a The Midnight-themed cassette player is announced that includes a copy of Syndicate on cassette. After the initial allotment of devices sold out in one day, an open pre-order was announced that will run until November 4.

- Tour - The fall leg of Time Machines tour begins in New Orleans.

- Tour - Bonnie McKee and Jessie Frye have been announced as the opening acts for the fall leg of the Time Machines tour.

- Music - Sending Hearts To All My Dearies A Tribute To The Smashing Pumpkins has been announced. The tribute album will be released on August 14, 2026, and features a cover of Tonight, Tonight by The Midnight.
- 19th May, 2026
- Tour - A second North American leg has been added to the Time Machines tour. The leg will begin on September 9, 2026, in New Orleans and conclude on October 19, 2026, in Monterrey, spanning 30 shows.
