Turbo Drive: FM-84 & The Midnight is the first ever live show by The Midnight. The show, which also featured fellow synthwave artist FM-84, took place on July 14, 2017 at the DNA Lounge in San Francisco.[1]

Background

The show was officially announced on May 22, 2017.[2][3][4] On June 21, Tyler Lyle posted on the band's Facebook page that they were seeking video editors to submit clips and graphics to go along with The Midnight's songs for the show.[5] On July 10, Tim McEwan shared on social media that he was in rehearsals with Tyler for the show.[6] Two days later, he also shared that the show would feature live saxophone.[7]
