Information we collect
The personal information that you are asked to provide, and the reasons why you are asked to provide it, will be made clear to you upon request.
If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you such as your name, email address, phone number, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.
When you register for an Account, we automatically get your contact information, including your name and email address, from the oauth provider, you used to create your account with.
How we use your information
We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

- Develop new products, services, features, and functionality
The Midnight Wiki follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and as part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by our log files include IPv4 or IPv6 (IP) addresses, browser type and date and time stamps. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for security, and for monitoring against DDoS attacks.
This site uses Google API Services to handle logins, which is used under the Google Terms Of Service.
Cookies and Web Beacons
Like any other website, The Midnight Wiki uses 'cookies'. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.

Responsible disclosure time
Per GDPR and The Danish Data Protection Act, we have to disclouse a potential security breach to Datatilsynet (The Danish Data Protection Agency), and to you as a user, within 72 hours of us noticing it. We will do so, to the email you provided when you signed up for an account, and we will only ever send such email from the adress firstname.lastname@example.org.
The data controller is a legal or natural person, an agency, a public authority, or any other body who, alone or when joined with others, determines the purposes of any personal data and the means of processing it. Our data controller is: Jens Møller.
